Nashville SChas added another win to its pristine home record.
NSC remained unbeaten at Geodis Park with a 4-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City on Oct. 14, extending its lead atop the MLS Supporters' Shield standings to 14 points as St. Louis and Vancouver fought to a 0-0 draw.

With that result, Nashville can now clinch the Supporters' Shield with a win at San Jose on the weekend.
Three of NSC's goals came in the first half, all but wrapping the game with 45 minutes to play.Hany Mukhtarbagged the best of the bunch with an acrobatic, scissor kicked finish in the 10thminute and soon after he'd provide an assist to Sam Surridge for a 2-0 lead. Then Cristian Espinoza recorded his 14thMLS assist of the season in the 29thminute, as Andy Najar headed in his corner kick.
Nashville would put the stamp on its win in stoppage time with Warren Madrigal sticking a penalty kick into the top left corner, his first goal since May. NSC keeps its third clean sheet in four matches and fourth straight clean sheet at home.
B.J. Callaghan's squad has two days of rest before returning to action in the Bay Area at 9:30 CT on Oct. 17.

NSC goal called off
10:06 PM ET, October 14 2026, Harrison Campbell
Nashville SC had what would've been its fourth goal called off by the referee. It was a nice piece of build up with Elias Saad twisting and turning in the box to give himself space for a cross, which found the head of Surridge on the back post. After review though, the referee deemed Surridge had handled the ball and the goal was overturned. It remains 3-0 Nashville in the 67th minute.

Nashville SC heads into the half with a 3-0 lead over Sporting Kansas City. It was a dominant opening 45 minutes from the home side, which (rather deceptively) held just a 51.8% possession advantage. Nashville registered 13 shots to Kansas City's two though, with eight finding the target compared to just one for KC.

The goals keep coming for Nashville SC. NSC leads 3-0 in the 29th minute after Andy Najar headed in a corner kick from Cristian Espinoza, rising up at the front post to flick the ball past SKC keeper Stefan Cleveland. It's Espinoza's 14th assist on the season, the joint second highest mark among MLS players.

Nashville SC is 2-0 up in the 17th minute after Sam Surridge cooly tapped in a chance at the back post. Hany Mukhtar set the play up, picking the ball up from Reed Baker-Whiting and pushing into the box before squaring it to an open Surridge.
Hany Mukhtar gives NSC 1-0 lead
08:51 PM ET, October 14 2026, Harrison Campbell
Nashville SC has taken a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute after a scissor kick from MVP candidate Hany Mukhtar found the back of the net. NSC's Andy Najar wrestled the ball away from a Sporting KC player in the box and soon after sent a probing ball into the center where Mukhtar went airborne for the half volley which flew past a frozen Stefan Cleveland.

Mukhtar is up to 15 league goals on the season and that's no doubt among the best finishes in the lot.
