Nate Ament ranked top 10 NBA draft best available player
The 2026 NBA draft will be held June 23-24 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn , New York. The NBA draft lottery will be held May 10 and the draft combine is scheduled for May 10-17 in Chicago , Illinois.
Tennessee freshman forward Nate Ament is listed as the No. 8 best available player for the NBA draft, according to ESPN . AJ Dybantsa (BYU), Darryn Peterson (Kansas), Cameron Boozer ( Duke ), Caleb Wilson ( North Carolina ), Keaton Wagler (Illinois), Darius Acuff Jr. (Arkansas) and Kingston Flemings ( Houston ) are ranked ahead of Ament for best available players.
The 6-foot-10, 207-pound freshman is also listed as the No. 4 best available forward behind Dybantsa, Boozer and Wilson.
Ament appeared in 35 games, including 35 starts, for the Vols during the 2025-26 season. He averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Ament’s career high for points in a game at Tennessee was 29 against Oklahoma on Feb. 18 . He also recorded career highs for rebounds (11) versus Vanderbilt on March 13 and assists (five) against Mississippi State on Feb. 11.
