Ndiaye makes World Cup history in Senegal's five-star rout
Iliman Ndiaye produced a record-breaking second-half display as Senegal demolished Iraq 5-0 in Toronto.
The Everton forward made a decisive impact after being introduced at the break, capping a night of history for the Teranga Lions.

His individual record is one of a kind. According to Opta, Ndiaye is the first player in World Cup history to come off the bench and then score a goal, provide an assist, register five touches in the opposition box and complete five dribbles in the same match.

Introduced in the second half, he changed the game in an instant. The team records were just as striking.
Senegal became the first African nation to score five goals in a single World Cup fixture and recorded the biggest winning margin by an African side in the competition's history.
A trio of stars shone brightest. Ismaila Sarr , Pape Gueye and Ndiaye each scored and assisted, the first time three players from one team had managed that in a World Cup match since Germany 's 7-1 thrashing of Brazil in 2014.

Sarr enjoyed a landmark night of his own. He became Senegal's all-time leading World Cup scorer with four goals, moving clear of Papa Bouba Diop.
The contest turned early. Iraq fell behind in the fourth minute through an Abdoulaye Seck header, then had Rebin Sulaka sent off for hauling down Sadio Mane near the box. Reduced to ten men, they were overwhelmed after the break.
Fellow substitute Gueye stole headlines too, striking twice in just over half an hour. His long-range brace effectively settled the match before Ndiaye applied the gloss.
The emphatic win has boosted Senegal's qualification hopes, with their superior goal difference now a powerful asset in the race for the knockout rounds.
