Nebraska guard Britt Prince recognized by Big Ten media and coaches

Nebraska women’s basketball point guard Britt Prince was named to the All-Big Ten First-Team by the media and the All-Big Ten Second-Team by the coaches. This was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Prince has had an outstanding season for the Huskers. She leads Nebraska in scoring and is efficient while doing so.

The Nebraska native is averaging 17.3 points, 4.4 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game. She is shooting 54.3% from the field and 90.1% from the free-throw line. She ranks second in the Big Ten in free-throw percentage.

She has recorded 26 double-figure scoring games and nine 20-point games this season. At one point, she set a school record with 48 consecutive free throws made.

Now, the accolades are pouring in. She is one of the best players in the country and is a key figure for the program in many ways. Here’s to hoping this season can continue for a couple more weeks.
