Just days after going viral for crying following his Brazil FIFA World Cup squad selection, Neymar is again all over the internet. Neymar had recently sustained a calf injury that sidelined him for Santos' matches. While expected to be fit for the World Cup, Neymar recently missed Brazil 's first World Cup training session on Wednesday, May. 27, 2026.
Despite arriving in style with his own Batman-themed helicopter, Neymar was unable to take part in the practice session. According to the Brazilian Football Confederation, Neymar was unable to participate in the training session due to "further medical evaluations" on his damaged right calf. As per the CBF medical department, the evaluation was to diagnose the injury that has kept the forward out of action.
After having his MRI with Rodrigo Lasmar, the head of Brazil's medical staff, Neymar visited Brazil's training facility in Teresópolis, outside of Rio de Janeiro, where he joined the rest of the team. However, while fans were excited to see him join the squad, they were more thrilled with his entrance . The former PSG forward was seen arriving in his black Batman-themed helicopter. As soon as the helicopter touched the helipad, Neymar popped out, greeted the staff, and went inside. Several clips of his arrival have now flooded the internet and have become a major talking point amongst his fans.
Although despite his joining the camp, his presence for Brazil's first warm-up friendly against Panama and second friendly against Egypt remains questionable. The 34-year-old has played in a total of three World Cups, with his first one being in 2014.
