The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for a Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins in prime time.
Ahead of the "Monday Night Football" matchup, the NFL announced its fines for player actions during the previous week's games. Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was on the list distributed by the league office.
Watt was fined $11,593 as a consequence of an unnecessary roughness penalty against the Baltimore Ravens in the Steelers' last game, a 27-22 win. The Steelers star was called for a late hit. He will have a chance to appeal the fine.

Watt's focus is elsewhere, however. Late this week he was in the headlines for being hospitalized and requiring surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung. Watt was injured during a procedure at the team facility.
The Steelers will play in prime time while wearing their classic color rush uniforms, but arguably their best player will be sidelined. Watt was ruled out on Friday, three days before the game.
In his ninth NFL season with the Steelers, Watt has 53 total tackles, seven sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception.
