Never mind waves. The Carolina Panthers have just sent a tsunami through the NFL landscape.
General manager Dan Morgan and company absolutely splashed into the opening of the legal tampering period on Monday, starting with a reported agreement for outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips. The Panthers are expected to sign the former first-round pick, who was considered one of the very top pass rushers on the market, to a massive four-year, $120 million pact.
Carolina then capped off the day by reportedly coming to terms with inside linebacker Devin Lloyd. Lloyd, who is also amongst the best free agents at his position, will be set to ink a three-year, $45 million deal.
