We are delighted to have brought Nikolas Veratschnig, who is a versatile and dynamic player, back to the Austrian Bundesliga. He is primarily intended for the right-back position, but also possesses the flexibility to play in other roles. Nikolas is a player with a clear attacking instinct, great pace, and is an exciting addition to our squad.

The most important thing for me is to play more football again. I had that at the beginning at Mainz, but lately it wasn't ideal. I want to get more playing time at FC Red Bull Salzburg, and I know I have what it takes for that. For me, this move is a great step to a great club and a good opportunity to showcase my abilities and prove myself again.
