Notre Dame freshman WR creating plenty of buzz during the spring

Notre Dame football had one of the best 2026 recruiting class, and with many of them being early enrollees , the spring has been a great time for them to showcase their abilities.

Freshman wide receiver Bubba Frazier wasn’t the highest ranked recruit, but none of that matters now. Irish defensive backs spoke with the media on Friday morning, and they mentioned him multiple times as the “toughest receiver to cover” according to Matt Freeman .

Frazier entered the program as the No. 284 overall recruiting according to the 247Sports Composite , and the 5-foot, 10-inch and 180-pounder is already showing that Notre Dame’s staff is exceptional at judging talent. There were over 40 other receivers that were ranked higher than him, but it’s looking like he is going to outperform his ranking.

There are spots for receivers to play, and it’s looking like Frazier might be forcing the issue to see the field as a true freshman.
