Obviously, I’m not saying that we’re perfect or that …

Nick Wright got a lot of exposure for calling LaMelo Ball a clown, specifically. He said he’s unserious, and LaMelo has had that “unserious” label for quite a few years. I’d say this year is the first year where people started to go, “Oh, wait a minute.” What’s it like to hear your guard talked about so negatively in the press? Do you hear it, and do you think anything of it? Moussa Diabaté: I mean, it’s one of those things where most people are not in the locker room. Everybody is going to have an opinion about things, and obviously, when you’re not winning, it’s one of those things where people are always going to find bad things going on. For me, it’s part of life. People are going to do that. At the end of the day, when you’re not winning, things like that are going to happen. Obviously, I’m not saying that we’re perfect or that we can’t get better, and obviously, Melo got better. But he wants to win. That has always been his mindset. He wants to win. He wants to do whatever he can do to win. Even defensively, people are not looking at it from the standpoint of the little details — his recovery, understanding the game, understanding when to take his shots. He wants to ask questions all the time.
