💸 Official: Barça sell a La Masia gem
FC Barcelona have officially announced the transfer of academy midfielder Tommy Marqués to Sporting Braga for a fixed fee of €11 million plus €1 million in add-ons. The 19-year-old academy product leaves the Blaugrana after 11 years in search of more regular playing time.
Future clauses for the Blaugrana
Despite parting ways with the player, Barça will retain 20% of the economic rights from any future sale, while also keeping a buy-back option worth €60 million. The young footballer signed a contract with the Portuguese side until 2030, with a release clause set at €60 million.

A step up in search of a bigger role
With limited minutes under Hansi Flick following the arrivals in midfield, Marqués chose the project led by coach Carlos Vicens. At the Portuguese club, he will wear the No. 16 shirt and share the dressing room with former Barça prospect Pau Víctor.
