Official: Espanyol announce new manager
La Liga outfit Espanyol have this week announced the latest appointment to the club's bench. This comes amid confirmation that Eder Sarabia has been handed the reins at the RCDE Stadium for the coming seasons.
It has of course been something of a hectic last 24 hours for all associated with Espanyol.

Adding to what has been nothing short of a dismal opening to the new campaign, the Pericos were sent packing from the Copa del Rey at the hands of 4th tier Sestao.
From here, those in a position of power in Barcelona wasted little time in announcing the long-awaited dismissal of head coach Manolo González.
And as alluded to above, less than 24 hours on, González's replacement has been confirmed. As per a statement across the official website and social media platforms of Espanyol:
'RCD Espanyol de Barcelona has reached an agreement with Eder Sarabia to become the coach of the first team. The new white-and-blue coach signs until June 30, 2028.'
