Jake Diebler and Ohio State are set to bring in two highly regarded four-star prospects in the 2027 class for official visits this weekend. The Buckeyes are hosting four-star small forward Deng Ngor and four-star point guard Jaxson Davis .

Ngor is a 6-foot-8 rising senior out of Fort Erie International Academy in Canada. He is ranked 29th nationally in the 2027 class, according to the Rivals Top 150 Player Rankings . In addition to the Buckeyes, Ngor is considering Duke, Florida, and Washington.
This summer, Ngor helped lead Canada to a gold medal at the FIBA U18 AmeriCup with a win over the United States, averaging 10.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game along the way.
Davis is a 6-foot-1 rising senior out of Monarch Academy in Kansas City, Kansas. He is ranked 43rd nationally in the 2027 class, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings , an average of all three major recruiting media companies (Rivals, ESPN, 247Sports).
Alongside Ohio State, Davis is considering Creighton, Iowa, Marquette, Michigan State, and Minnesota. During the EYBL regular season, Davis averaged 15.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game for Meanstreets.

Deng Ngor
Talk about a high-level connector. Deng Ngor is someone who can do a lot to elevate the floor of a team. At a lengthy 6-foot-8, he is a disruptive defender, guarding along the perimeter or sliding down a lineup. He also is able to self-create in the half court, getting downhill and finishing at the rim and he can space the floor, knocking down shots in the corner. While the numbers might not pop off the page, his ability to mold himself into different roles while enhancing the value of the players beside him is so intriguing. And, with Ngor, there is a lot of runway still left to hit his upside.
Jaxson Davis
Jaxson Davis controls the tempo. He has a controlled handle and does an excellent job putting the ball into advantages. His reads are quick and decisive and defends at the point of attack. The composure is was impressive.
