Ole Miss TE Dae'Quan Wright could be a player to watch for the Eagles

The Eagles have studs at several key positions, but the organization appears set to find a viable replacement for Dallas Goedert after inking their star tight end to a one-year deal. Philadelphia has met with several tight ends since the Senior Bowl, and one name to watch is Ole Miss stud Dae'Quan Wright . The 6-4, 255-pound Wright is a Perry, Georgia, native who transferred to Ole Miss after spending the early part of his career at Virginia Tech.

Wright is one of the tight ends surging up draft boards, and he had a virtual interview with the Eagles among other teams.

A 2026 NFL Combine invitee, Wright was an All-America selection by Phil Steele and was named to the All-SEC second team by Coaches, Phil Steele, and Sports Info. Additionally, he was recognized on the All-SEC third team by PFSN. Wright started all 15 games for the Rebels at tight end, recording 39 receptions for a total of 635 yards. He finished second on the team with five receiving touchdowns for the season and averaged 10.1 yards after the catch, leading all FBS tight ends and ranking 16th nationally.
