Oliver Glasner's name came up during Liverpool 's early season struggles, and there's now talk he'll be leaving Crystal Palace once his contract ends in 2025/26.
After the club lost nine of their first 12 matches this season, Austrian outlets began linking Glasner with a potential move to Anfield, though nothing materialised at the time.

Liverpool decided not to make a change back then, and now it looks like Red Bull could step in first. Discussions are reportedly underway for Glasner to join them after the current campaign wraps up.

Following his time at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp took up the role of global director of soccer with the Red Bull group in January 2025.
But a recent report from French outlet L'Equipe suggests Klopp is becoming increasingly unsettled in that position.
The same report claims Glasner is being discussed as a potential replacement for Klopp, who will be leaving Selhurst Park at the end of the season.

There are also growing suggestions that Klopp may be interested in getting back into management sooner rather than later.
What Jurgen Klopp said about his managerial future
Jurgen Klopp was linked with the Real Madrid job earlier in the season after Xabi Alonso departed, but a return to management doesn't appear to be on the cards just yet.
While there's always speculation about his next move, a comeback at Anfield seems unlikely for now.
Speaking back in January about the rumours, Klopp said: "Since I stopped at Liverpool, I haven't had any contact with Real Madrid – not even once. And that isn't necessary because I enjoy what I'm doing right now so much that I'm not sitting around waiting for something to come along that might be 'better'."

He went on to talk about enjoying life outside the day-to-day demands of coaching, adding: "And I have to say: even though I work a lot, I really enjoy this new sense of self-determination. I can actually say, for example, that if I'm not there sometimes — and as a coach you can't do that because the matchdays are scheduled and you always have to be there — and not just be there but be there 100%.
"And the fact that it isn't like that for me at the moment, I'm really enjoying it. It's nice to be able to say that."
