Oregon Ducks unveil uniform combination for Orange Bowl vs. Texas Tech

The Oregon Ducks gave their fan base an early Christmas present on Christmas Eve. They released the uniform combination for the Orange Bowl against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff.

On Wednesday afternoon, Oregon announced it will wear a black, white and gray combination for the big game: black helmets, white jerseys and gray pants. The Ducks used the starting offensive line to showcase the uniform, touting a "stronger as one" mantra for the release.

While this is a clean uniform combination, some fans may be bothered by the fact there are no primary school colors in the mix, such as green or yellow. That has been a bad sign in the past. However, the Ducks will look clean on the road in Miami for the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

Here's a closer look at the Ducks' Orange Bowl uniforms.
