Oregon is reportedly losing another member of its starting lineup.
The agent for forward Kwame Evans Jr. told On3 his client is entering the transfer portal, which will open for a 15-day window beginning April 7.
The 6-foot-10 Evans, a former five-star recruit and 2023 McDonald's all-American from Montverde Academy in Florida, started 30 games as a junior this past season and averaged career-highs in both points (13.3) and rebounds (7.4).
The Ducks had already lost a pair of starting seniors in center Nate Bittle and guard Takai Simpkins. They'll now need to replace their most consistent player from a 2025-26 season that ended with a 12-20 record — their first losing season in 16 years under coach Dana Altman.
In his three seasons at Oregon, Evans played in a 101 games and started 62. He was a key member of the teams that won the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament and played into the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2024 and 2025.
