While there wasn't much doubt that he'd be back in 2026, Oregon Ducks wide receiver Dakorien Moore has officially re-signed with the program. He announced the news with a post on his Instagram account.
Moore was a five-star and the No. 1 ranked WR and No. 9 player overall in the 2025 recruiting class, per 247 Sports. With a preseason season-ending injury to the Ducks ' expected top receiver Evan Stewart , Moore was quickly thrust into action as the No. 1 target early in the season for quarterback Dante Moore .
The true freshman Moore met the high expectations set for him, culminating in a seven-catch, 89-yard performance in Oregon's 30-24 double overtime victory on the road against Penn State in Week 5.
Unfortunately for the 5-foot-11, 195-pound receiver, he suffered a knee injury prior to the Ducks ' early November contest against the Iowa Hawkeyes that caused him to miss the final four games of the regular season. He returned during the College Football Playoff but had ceded his top spot in the receiving rotation, as he caught just six passes for 54 yards in three playoff games.
On the season, Moore finished fourth on the team in catches (34), fifth in receiving yards (497) and tied for fourth in receiving touchdowns (three). He also carried the ball four times for 49 yards and a score, showing his electric nature with the ball in his hands.
Now returning to Oregon for the 2026 season as a true sophomore, Moore will likely assume a starting spot alongside Stewart and either UAB transfer Iverson Hook s or Jeremiah McClellan , who popped in the absence of Moore. There's a lot of talented depth at the position as well.
Given that he played in eight regular-season games in 2025, Moore has three seasons of eligibility.
Though there wasn't much doubt, retaining Moore amid the wild times in college football is a huge win for the Ducks.
