Oregon wide receiver Kyler Kasper is transferring to BYU

BYU just made its first transfer portal addition of the offseason.

Oregon wide receiver Kyler Kasper has committed to the Cougars, he announced Thursday via social media,

Kasper has been at Oregon since 2022, playing 72 total snaps and catching six passes for 77 yards during that span.

The 6-foot-6, 212-pound Arizona native was a four-star recruit out of high school, originally choosing Oregon over offers from Tennessee , Georgia, Miami and a number of other notable programs.

But with two seasons of eligibility remaining in Provo, Kasper will be tasked with helping to replace the production of graduating senior Chase Roberts in BYU’s wide receiver room.

Other Cougar receivers of note include Parker Kingston , Jojo Phillips, Cody Hagen, Reggie Frischknecht and Tei Nacua .
