The Carolina Panthers are getting ready to take on the Denver Broncos, with the team needing a win in the worst way.
Carolina holds a record of 3-4 on the season, with the team having lost two games in a row entering this week. The Panthers haven't looked good on either side of the ball of late , but the defense has started to play slightly better.

This front office invested a lot of money into the defense over the offseason, but so far, it hasn't helped much. But the Panthers do have multiple quality players on the unit, including star cornerback Jaycee Horn.
Carolina selected Horn with the No. 8 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft out of South Carolina, and since then, he has made his mark on the team. Last season, Horn put up 37 total tackles, five interceptions, and eight pass deflections for Carolina, making his second Pro Bowl roster.
Horn has been limited to just three games this season due to injury, with the veteran posting six total tackles and two pass deflections. But Horn is expected to return to the field soon, giving the Panthers a major boost.
Heading into the team's game against the Broncos, Denver star Patrick Surtain praised Horn, putting him among the top cornerbacks in the league in his opinion. Surtain is seen as one of the better cornerbacks in the NFL, so this has to mean a lot to Horn to be considered in this tier.
If the Panthers can get Horn back for the game against the Broncos, it could not only provide the team with a boost, but it will be a chance for Horn to show what he can do. With Surtain across the field from him, Horn can remind the Broncos star just how good of a player he can be.

This is a game that the Panthers need to grab , with the team trying to avoid going 3-5 on the year. Carolina got off to a nice start to the season, with the offense playing well, but over the last few weeks, everything has slowed down.
The Panthers want to get back to the playoffs this season, and having Horn on the field will be a crucial piece of that quest. The Carolina defense will be tasked with controlling the Denver offense this week, giving the team at least a chance to win the game.
