The Colorado Avalanche are not the only hurting NHL team on Sunday night. Joining the Avs in misery are the Florida Panthers , but for a completely different reason.

The Panthers seem to be feeling a bit betrayed by Miami Heat star big man Bam Adebayo , who was spotted with his girlfriend (and Las Vegas Aces star center) A'ja Wilson, watching Game 3 of the series between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Avalanche at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Panthers shared this post on X (formerly Twitter) to show how they really feel about Adebayo showing up to support another NHL team.
As someone who's with the Heat, Adebayo is expected to be supportive of the Florida-based Panthers. The former Kentucky Wildcats star had even been a guest before in a Panthers game. That being said, Florida did not make the NHL playoffs after winning back-to-back Stanley Cup titles.

But Adebayo may also just be following some marching orders from Wilson, whose WNBA geographical allegiance clearly ties her with the Golden Knights.
In any case, the Golden Knights and the Avalanche made it quite a date night for Adebayo and Wilson. It was a rollercoaster of a game, with the Avalanche erecting a 3-0 lead in the first period before the Golden Knights responded with a blistering five-goal juggernaut to come away with a 5-3 come-from-behind win — and a 3-0 series lead.
The Panthers' misery may not be over, as Adebayo and Wilson could possibly catch another Golden Knights game in Las Vegas. The Golden Knights will look to finish off Colorado via a sweep on Tuesday, still at T-Mobile Arena.
