Carolina Panthers safety Nick Scott is cashing in yet again.
As announced on Monday, the seven-year veteran is the fourth-highest earner of the NFL's performance-based pay off the 2025 campaign. Scott—who re-signed with the Panthers this past weekend on a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million—is set to rake in approximately $1.26 million of the league's distributions.
Scott started in each of Carolina's 18 games from 2025, including their wild-card round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The 30-year-old finished the regular season with career-highs in combined tackles (111) and stops (22).
Last offseason saw teammate and fellow defensive back Mike Jackson also get a little extra on top of his new contract. Jackson, after re-upping on a two-year pact with the Panthers, was rewarded $1.03 million in performance-based pay for 2024.
