Prior to entering the pros, Davis split his six collegiate campaigns between Brigham Young University and Utah State University. In his five years with the Cougars, he recorded 90 carries for 486 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
In 2025, his lone season at Utah State, Davis notched 131 rushing attempts for 731 yards and eight scores over 13 games. He also reeled in 28 receptions for 201 yards and three more touchdowns.
Davis appeared in all four preseason games for the Panthers this summer—amassing 103 yards and a score on 22 carries.
