Peyton Bowen is the biggest name on this list this week as he had one of his best performances for the Sooners this past weekend in Starkville against Mississippi State.
Bowen snatched an impressive interception along with seven tackles. He exited the game with an unknown injury, but returned to finish the game. He is questionable for the Sooners this Saturday.
"I think he's good. I haven't talked to the trainers or anybody. I know he didn't come right back in, but I think he'll be fine," said OU coach Brent Venables after the game Saturday. "He had some fabulous tackles today in space, some one-on-ones, and a fantastic interception in zone coverage in the end zone… He's playing his best football. That's what you want from a guy in his last year.
"He's been ultra-consistent, tough, and physical, and he's made a ton of game-changing plays. He's the guy we recruited, hoping he'd become."
His brother, Eli Bowen, is also questionable. He's missed the past three games for the Sooners after getting injured in practice ahead of OU's game against Texas.
Starting left guard Eddy Pierre-Louis is out. He missed the Texas game and was seen with a massive brace on his right leg and had a singular crutch helping him get around the field pregame.
He's been questionable to start the past three weeks and would eventually miss the game. This time, there is no chance for him to play this week.
Starting lineman Ryan Fodje is out for the second-straight week. He injured his ankle in OU's game against Kentucky and was left out on the field for a few drives after his apparent injury that will sideline him for at least two weeks.
Starting center Jake Maikkula is questionable to play Saturday after suffering an injury against Mississippi State.
