- PFF: 5 lowest-graded Jets players on offense in Week 8 vs. Raiders
Scoring 33 points and still losing at home is a tough pill to swallow, particularly for a New York Jets team that desperately needed a victory. The 38-33 defeat against the Las Vegas Raiders marked New York's third consecutive loss and sixth defeat in its last seven games. When an offense produces that many points without getting the result, the postgame evaluation becomes more complicated.
A five-touchdown afternoon isn't necessarily an indication that everyone performed well. Football is too dependent on individual assignments, execution and consistency for the scoreboard to tell the entire story. Some players can contribute to a productive offensive showing while still struggling in their own responsibilities, and those shortcomings deserve attention.

With the Jets searching for answers, the less encouraging evaluations are worth examining just as closely as the standout performances.
