The Pitt men's basketball team added five more players through the transfer portal Monday.
Former Syracuse guard Naithan George, Mercer center Armani Mighty, Georgia Tech forward Baye Ndongo and Charleston Southern guard A'lahn Sumler will join the Panthers. Ex-Gardner-Webb guard Colin Hawkins enters as a walk-on.

George is 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds. He spent his first two seasons at Georgia Tech and this past campaign at Syracuse.
He averaged 10.9 points, 5.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game at Syracuse. George averaged 12.3 points, 6.5 assists and 3.7 boards per contest in 2024-25. He added 9.8 points and 4.7 assists per game as a freshman in 2023-24. The Canada native has 1,051 points, 530 assists and 309 rebounds over three seasons.
Mighty is 6-10 and 225 pounds and a redshirt junior.
He was one of 14 players to average a double-double in 2025-26 with 13.2 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
Mighty totaled 16 double-doubles in 2025-26. He averaged 1.7 blocks per contest and was named Southern Conference co-defensive player of the year and earned a spot on the league's second team. Mighty led the league in blocks and offensive rebounds per game.

He was seventh in the country in rebounds per game and fifth in offensive boards per contest.
The Canada native received a medical redshirt at Central Michigan in 2024-25. Over his first two seasons at Boston College, he totaled 40 points and 57 boards in 51 games.
Ndongo is 6-9 and 240 pounds from Senegal. He spent his first three seasons at Georgia Tech. Ndongo was named to the 2024-25 ACC third team and 2023-24 all-freshman squad. He averaged in double-figure scoring during each of his first three seasons.
Ndongo posted 11.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in 2025-26. He produced 13.4 points and 8.9 boards per contest in 2024-25. Ndongo totaled 12.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game as a freshman in 2023-24. He has 1,133 points, 762 rebounds, 145 assists and 98 blocks over three seasons.

Sumler is 6-4 and 200 pounds and from the state of Connecticut.
He led the Big South with 18.8 points and 3.9 assists per game in 2025-26. Sumler was injured in 2024-25 and made 21 starts in 2023-24.
In 2022-23 at Northern Kentucky, Sumler saw action in 28 games, averaging 10.1 minutes per contest. He totaled 81 points and 26 rebounds.
Hawkins is 6-3 and 225 pounds. The Colorado native averaged 8.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore in 2025-26. He started all 31 games as a sophomore after playing in 19 contests as a freshman.
Former Alabama guard Jalil Bethea, Brigham Young redshirt freshman forward Dominique Diomande and North Carolina sophomore guard Jonathan Powell committed to Pitt over the weekend.

Guard Macari Moore is expected to be the only scholarship player to rejoin Pitt's team in 2026-27. Forward Chase Foster and guard Jermal Jones Jr. signed with Pitt in November.
Former Pitt guards Brandin Cummings (Memphis) and Jaland Lowe (Georgetown) made their commitments.
