The 2026 football season for the Auburn Tigers is on the horizon. As we anticipate the start of the season, let's introduce you to a key member of the 2026 roster.
TheAuburn Tigershave plenty of potential playmakers on their defensive front for the 2026 college football season. One of those players is Chris Murray. He showed what he was capable of during the 2025 season with 3.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss. His best game of the season was in the win over Mercer with two sacks and one forced fumble.

Before being atAuburn, Murray played three seasons at Sam Houston State. Over his time there, he had 6.5 total sacks and 13 tackles for loss. He was a three-star recruit as a transfer portal addition for the 2025 season. He originally signed with TCU before transferring to Sam Houston State in December after the 2021 season. Murray was a three-star recruit from Texas and was a part of the 2021 recruiting class.
