The 2026 football season for the Auburn Tigers is on the horizon. As we anticipate the start of the season, let's introduce you to a key member of the 2026 roster.
The pipeline between St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland andAuburnfootball strengthened this offseason when the Tigers added wide receiverJeremiah Kogerfrom the transfer portal. Koger, who followed new head coach Alex Golesh from USF to Auburn, is one of six players on Auburn's roster who played high school football with the Maryland power, joining the likes of sophomore defensive lineman Darrion Smith, sophomore cornerback Blake Woodby, sophomore linebacker Bryce Deas, senior EDGE Dashawn Womack, freshman safety Wayne Henry.

Koger, a rising sophomore on Auburn's roster, made a splash as a freshman by logging 597 receiving yards and eight scores with USF in 2026. His receiving total was second on the team behind fellow USF transferKeshaun Singleton, while the duo tied for the team lead in touchdown catches. His snap count gradually increased from six snaps in USF's season opener last season to 50 snaps by the Bulls' week seven contest with North Texas, which led to Koger grabbing a permanent starting role in the USF wide receiver corps.
Koger caught at least two passes in all seven games he started, and logged at least 50 receiving yards in three of those games. He brings a tall presence to Auburn's wide receiver room, standing at 6-3, and hopes to use his height to advantage as he tries to navigate the tough waters of the SEC.
