Vikings Territory Breakdown
There are plenty of theories about rumors of speculation for potential changes to the quarterback situation of the Minnesota Vikings . They are everywhere on the internet—right next to all the speculation regarding whether or not Brian Flores will remain the team's defensive coordinator. One overriding notion that holds sway in these parts is that the Vikings need to get a more veteran QB in house to compete with J.J. McCarthy for the starting job next season. There are many candidates for the job, so the fellas at the Vikings Territory Breakdown podcast, Joe Oberle, senior writer at vikingsterritory.com and purplePTSD.com and Mark Craig, NFL and Vikings writer for the Star Tribune and startribune.com ) are on hand to postulate their speculation. From a return of Kirk Cousins (which many don't want) to the dream scenario of a trade for Joe Burrow (whom everyone would want if the price didn't mortgage the team's future), we will chat about a number of scenarios.
In other news, the Vikings' place kicker Will Reichard and long snapper Andrew DePaola make first and second team All-Pro, respectively, even though they didn't get a Pro Bowl nod. Mark Craig will run down his All-Pro ballot and shed some on this confusing circumstance. Plus, we will break down the NFL Playoffs as we move toward the Divisional Round. (There is joy in Bearsville and wailing and gnashing of teeth in Title Town.) So, tune in and check it all out. Skol!
