A potential trade target for the Pittsburgh Steelers does not seem to be fully healthy.
The Pittsburgh Steelers look like they will be buyers at the NFL trade deadline and many believe they could be targeting another wide receiver. However, one of their potential options just popped up on the injury report.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN , New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is in concussion protocol.

Wilson seems like more of a dream scenario for the Steelers than anything, but some seem to believe it is a possibility.
NFL insider Jason La Canfora recently shared that he thinks a 2028 first-round pick could get the deal done.
If that is true, it is certainly a trade the Steelers should be interested in doing. One of Pittsburgh's biggest weaknesses right now is its depth at wide receiver. DK Metcalf has not lived up to expectations and wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson are both on injured reserve.
Meanwhile, Wilson is only 26 and arguably one of the most underrated wide receivers in the league with 43 catches for 527 yards and three touchdowns on the season with the 2-6 Jets.

New York has a lot of question marks on its roster, which could influence the team to blow things up, but it would still be a bit of a head-scratching move as Wilson is a piece it could still build around.
It's understandable that Wilson's health status could have some Steelers fans raising their eyebrows, but he did suffer a head injury during the team's Week 8 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Wilson had a helmet-to-helmet hit with Raiders defensive back Jeremy Chinn late in the fourth quarter.
Only time will tell how serious Wilson's concussion is, but it's safe to say the Steelers would still be happy to take him off the Jets hands.
The No. 10 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, Wilson has recorded 358 catches for 4,171 yards and 21 touchdowns in his professional career.
