With the campaign still in its early stages, these forwards will be looking to become more clinical in front of goal.

Igor Thiago - Brentford (6)
A revelation last season, Igor Thiago has found the goals harder to come by in 2026/27. The Brentford forward finished runner-up for the Premier League Golden Boot with 22 goals last season, a haul which earned him a place in Brazil's World Cup squad. This season, he's managed one goal in eight games, spurning six 'big chances'.
Gonzalo Garcia - Fulham (6)
Fulham equalled their transfer record to sign Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid in the summer, as Alvaro Arbeloa sought a reunion with the Spanish striker.

Garcia had made a regular impact from the bench in La Liga, but is still finding his feet in the Premier League. The 22-year-old has scored once in eight games during a difficult start for Fulham.
Bryan Mbeumo - Manchester United (6)
Manchester United have a plethora of problems right now, and Bryan Mbeumo has been one of the better performers in a poor side. That said, United will need the Cameroonian to sharpen up if Michael Carrick's men are to climb the table.
Rayan - Bournemouth (8)
Bournemouth winger Rayan ranks second for big chances missed so far this season. The 20-year-old has impressed plenty since arriving in January, but remains a work in progress. A first goal of the season at Manchester United last weekend should see his confidence soar.

Thierno Barry - Everton (12)
Thierno Barry sits, comfortably, top of this list. The Everton forward has missed 12 big chances in eight league games, a statistic that will be a cause for concern. Only Erling Haaland has a higher xG than the 24-year-old, who is at least showing improved movement to get goalscoring opportunities. Everton, however, need improvement from the Frenchman.
