Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk thinks the Baltimore Ravens could potentially be in play for All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill . He thinks adding Hill could have a domino effect for Baltimore in the Lamar Jackson contract situation.
"Remember 2023, when the Ravens were in that awkward contract status with Lamar Jackson, what did they do? They signed Odell Beckham Jr…It got the deal done with Lamar Jackson," Florio said. "Maybe adding Tyreek Hill is the thing that gets Lamar Jackson to sign the contract the Ravens would have on the table in lieu of pushing for something more."
The Miami Dolphins informed Hill that he will be released this offseason, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are among the favorites to land him.
According to the 33rd Team , the Steelers have the second-best odds (+500) to sign Hill, behind only his former team — the Kansas City Chiefs (-180).
At DraftKings Sportsbook , the Ravens have +800 odds to land Hill, which is tied for the third-best odds.
Hill, who will turn 32 next month, suffered a serious, season-ending injury during the Dolphins' 27-21 win over the New York Jets in Week 4. He reportedly tore multiple ligaments in his dislocated knee, including his ACL, and had surgery to repair his injury.
That, of course, makes his market hard to predict. However, when healthy, Hill has been one of the best wide receivers in the league.
Over his 10-year NFL career, Hill has recorded 819 catches for 11,363 yards and 83 touchdowns.
Hill is coming off his first sub-1,000-yard season since 2019, though, registering just 21 catches for 265 yards and one touchdown before suffering his serious injury last season.
A fifth-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016, Hill is a five-time first-team All-Pro, former NFL receiving yards and touchdowns leader (2023) and Super Bowl LIV champion.
