Amid the violence, there had been concern over the status of a marquee showdown between defending champion PSG and Barcelona at Parc des Princes in Paris.
But Nuñez insisted that the game, as well as Wednesday's Champions League game between Lille and Galatasaray in Lille, were in no danger of being postponed.

Speaking about potentially calling off planned events, Nuñez said: "This does not apply to tomorrow's match between PSG and FC Barcelona."
"Looking at these images, we have all asked ourselves: What was going through their minds? How can French people do this to France?" President Emmanuel Macron said in a televised address to the nation on Sunday, Oct. 18. "Nothing justifies it, nothing explains it, nothing excuses it. Tonight, we all feel anger and shame."
PSG coach Luis Enrique was asked about the violence in his pre-match press conference on Monday, Oct. 19.
"I am not the person to ask about the topic. I am here to talk about football. Of course, we don't like this kind of violence," the Spanish manager said.
