PSG steps up plans to stop Arsenal from poaching their star
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Desire Doue from Paris Saint-Germain, but the French club are determined to hold on to the talented winger as they look to maintain their success in domestic and European competitions.
Doue has been an important figure for PSG, contributing to the team's success and helping them establish themselves among Europe's leading sides. His performances have attracted attention from several clubs, with Arsenal among those reportedly keen to secure his signature.

Arsenal face competition for Doue
The Gunners are understood to admire Doue's quality, with his performances making him an attractive option for a club looking to strengthen its attacking options. However, Arsenal are not alone in their interest, and any attempt to sign the winger would face a significant obstacle in PSG's determination to retain him.
The French champions have the financial strength to resist interest from rival clubs, meaning they are under no immediate pressure to sell one of their prized assets. Instead, their priority is to secure Doue's future and ensure he remains part of their plans for the coming seasons.
PSG know that keeping their best players is essential if they want to continue competing for major honours. With the club aiming to sustain its success on both the domestic and European stages, allowing a player of Doue's calibre to leave would be a major setback.

PSG make progress on a new contract
According to Team Talk , PSG have stepped up their efforts to prevent Doue from leaving by offering him a new contract. The report claims the club have made significant progress in negotiations and is working to finalise an agreement as quickly as possible.
The latest indications from Doue's camp are reportedly positive, giving the French side confidence that the winger will remain at the club. While the situation is not necessarily concluded, the progress made so far suggests PSG are optimistic about reaching an agreement.
For Arsenal, the developments could complicate any hopes of bringing Doue to the Premier League. The Gunners may continue to monitor his situation, but PSG's willingness to offer improved terms demonstrates their commitment to keeping him.

Doue's future will depend on how the negotiations develop, although PSG appear determined to secure his long-term commitment. For now, Arsenal face a difficult task if they want to prise the winger away from Paris.
