- Rams starting LB exits vs. 49ers with hip injury
The Los Angeles Rams came into Week 1 remarkably healthy, but one of their defensive starters suffered an injury in the first half of the opener against the San Francisco 49ers . Linebacker Omar Speights exited in the first half with a hip injury and the Rams are calling him questionable to return.
Second-year linebacker Shaun Dolac replaced Speights on defense next to Nate Landman . Speights started 16 games for the Rams last season and entered this year as a starter alongside Landman.
Update: Speights has returned to the game, taking the field again in the second quarter.
