Back in 2019, Ross appeared in 27 games for the Washington Nationals , who went on to win the World Series. Ross pitched in both game three and game five of the World Series that year.
In addition to the Nationals and D-backs, Ross has made appearances for the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies .
Joe's brother, Tyson Ross , appeared in 203 big-league games from 2010 to 2019, including 12 appearances for the Rangers back in 2017.

In order to keep their streak of four straight series wins alive, the Rangers will need to win each of the last two games against Boston.

On Saturday, Jacob deGrom will take the mound for the Rangers and match up with Ranger Suarez in an elite pitching matchup.
Entering play, the Rangers are two games back of first place in the American League West and tied for the final AL Wild Card spot.
Adding Ross will give Texas some extra coverage in their bullpen after a heavy workload last night and amid a stretch without many off days.
The Rangers' next off day will come on Wednesday due to the FIFA World Cup taking place at what is now Dallas Staduim across the street from Globe Life Field.
