Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was problematic for the Baltimore Ravens secondary this past Sunday, although the flock escaped 34-31 in Rio de Janeiro. Still, defensive back Nate Wiggins is likely still obsessing over the costly pass interference penalty that almost cost his team the game.
Wiggins understood the assignment and took pride in matching up with Lamb in the final minutes of Sunday's game. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had torched the Ravens for 267 passing yards on the afternoon, and Lamb accounted for seven receptions and 112 of those yards. Nevertheless, with a three-point lead, Wiggins was determined not to give Lamb any leniency in the final moments. That is, until a 20-yard pass interference penalty negated Wiggins' excellent positioning on Lamb with 0:28 to go in regulation.
