The Baltimore Ravens had a goal of improving their offensive line over the week after signing Hakeem Adeniji , but it looks like they'll have to keep searching. Adeniji was placed on the reserve-retired list by the Ravens , and the offensive tackle seems to be hanging up the jersey for good.
Adeniji was going to have some value for the Ravens, as he had the ability to guard and tackle for the team if he needed to. Over his career, Adeniji has appeared in 58 games between the Cincinnati Bengals , Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys .
When he was with the Bengals, he played both tackle positions and right guard. He missed the 2024 season after a knee injury and played for the Cowboys last season, where he appeared in 12 games and made one start.

The Ravens will now have a chance to add another player to replace Adeniji, or they can continue with the players they have at the position. Anything can happen between now and the weeks to come, but the Ravens probably would want to bring in more experience just in case.
With how much Lamar Jackson moves around in the pocket and how valuable the run game is for the Ravens' offense, it only makes sense for the team to keep looking in the market for linemen that can bring what they need.
Jackson was hurt for most of the season last year, and the Ravens don't want that to happen again, especially with the talent they have on the roster once again.
