The Baltimore Ravens need to keep stacking wins coming into Week 4. Baltimore is 2-1 on the season after stunning Dallas in Brazil on Sunday. Unfortunately, that victory came at the cost of multiple serious injuries. Baltimore now has more details on how long their starting center will be on the sideline.
Ravens starting center Jovaughn Gwyn suffered a fractured fibula during Week 3's win against the Cowboys, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. That injury will likely require surgery and could put Gwyn out of action for two or three months.
Gwyn was carted off the field in Rio de Janeiro, so it should be no surprise that this is a serious injury.

Still, it is a devastating turn of events from Gwyn. The 27-year-old center beat out veteran Ethan Pocic for the starting job during training camp. This was his first opportunity as a starter during his four-year career in the NFL. He was previously a backup with the Falcons for three seasons.
Baltimore also lost Pocic to a significant injury. As a result, they will move rookie guard Vega Ioane to center to become the new starter. It will be a big adjustment for the talented rookie to make during the middle of the season.
The Ravens have also started kicking the tires on some veteran offensive linemen to add some depth on the interior. Baltimore worked out Graham Glasgow , Kingsley Eguakun , and Kyle Hergel on Tuesday.
All of this comes after the Ravens lost center Tyler Linderbaum to the Raiders in free agency this spring.
Regardless, Baltimore needs to do whatever it takes to continue winning games this season. The AFC North is surprisingly competitive with every team entering Week 4 at 2-1. Fortunately, the Ravens drew an easy opponent for their next matchup.
Next up for the Ravens is a home game against the Titans. That AFC contest kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on Oct. 4 from M&T Bank Stadium.
