The 26-year-old quarterback played for the Dallas Renegades in the 2026 UFL season and had an impressive year. Reed was second in the league with 1,923 passing yards. Reed did not get many chances with Baltimore but made a quick, noticeable impact in the preseason. He completed both of his passes and ran for a 14-yard touchdown in his Ravens debut against the Philadelphia Eagles .
Still, the Ravens ultimately chose to let Reed go on Saturday as they finish building their roster for the 2026 season. Rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano also competed for the third-string spot. He had a strong preseason, going 22-for-28 for 224 yards and a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Now, Baltimore will move forward with Jackson, Huntley, and Fagnano as its quarterbacks as the team prepares for its regular season opener at home.
