- Ravens social media pushes back after Lamar Jackson’s stunning Top 100 drop
The NFL's annual Top 100 Players list always sparks debate. That's inevitable when players are asked to rank one another. Personal experiences, individual preferences, recent performances, and even injuries all shape the final order. Some placements generate universal agreement. Others leave fans wondering how the voting unfolded the way it did.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson 's placement firmly falls into the second category. After being unveiled at No. 69, he spent the previous two years inside the top two; a stunning 67-spot drop raised eyebrows .
For one of the league's most accomplished quarterbacks, such a finish isn't just erroneous. It's disrespectful. While the list is voted on by NFL players themselves, Baltimore's social media team wasted little time letting everyone know where it stood.

Shortly after Jackson's placement was revealed, the Ravens responded on social media with a message that left little doubt about their feelings. The post quickly resonated with fans who viewed Jackson's ranking as far too low for a two-time NFL MVP who continues to redefine the quarterback position.
The Ravens weren't buying the ranking
The reaction is understandable. Jackson certainly has questions to answer entering 2026. Durability remains part of the conversation after injuries have caused him to miss time in three of the past five seasons. Baltimore also begins a new era offensively following Todd Monken's departure, placing added attention on how offensive coordinator Declan Doyle builds the system around his franchise quarterback.

Even so, Jackson's resume remains difficult to overlook. He's a two-time MVP. He's the first quarterback in Ravens history to surpass 4,000 passing yards (2024). That same season, he led the NFL in passer rating (119.6) and QBR (74.8).
Despite missing four games last season due to injury, he led all NFL QBs in yards per completion. He still owns the distinction of being the most prolific rushing quarterback in league history.
Few players force defensive coordinators to rethink an entire game plan the way Jackson does. Whether No. 69 ultimately proves justified will be decided on the field, not in an offseason vote. Still, Baltimore's social media response reflected the opinion of many throughout the Ravens fan base. They don't see Jackson as the NFL's 69th-best player. They see another opportunity for one of football's biggest stars to remind everyone why he's long been considered one of the game's most dynamic talents .
