First, Dutch winger Justin Kluivert bagged the club's first-ever goal in continental competition just after the ten-minute mark to send traveling supporters into rapture.
Brazilian international and Bournemouth starlet Rayan would go on to double the advantage in the 20th minute with a delightful finish after being expertly picked out by the in-demand Alex Scott .
As a club that has long witnessed its best and brightest depart, Bournemouth's slow progression into becoming a side that aims to contend for Europe year-on-year is a fantastic advert for not only the Premier League, but what supporting a "lesser" club is all about.
