Real Betis star calls out 'unfair refereeing' in defeat to Barcelona
Real Betis star Héctor Bellerín has turned heads across the Spanish football landscape late on Saturday evening. This comes owing to a round of comments regarding the officiating in his side's latest outing.
Betis of course marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming rampant Barcelona to Seville for a La Liga clash. When all was said and done, the visitors kept alive their frankly remarkable recent run of form, courtesy of a 5-2 triumph.

But Barca's eventual victory was not without its controversies along the way…
Over the course of the 90 minutes, Betis made clear that they felt hard done by on the part of referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea, owing to several high-profile decisions at pivotal moments.
Drawn on his side's eventual defeat during a post-match exchange with DAZN, the aforementioned Héctor Bellerín therefore made use of the opportunity to announce the grievances of Manuel Pellegrini's squad as a collective:
"There have been unfair refereeing decisions. Cucho's handball came from a push, and he didn't call a dangerous play on Fermín. He didn't punish it in the same way. They're two dubious plays where Betis gets punished in one, and Barça gets rewarded in the other. It's unfair."
