Real Madrid steps up efforts to sign Arsenal man
Martin Zubimendi's future at Arsenal is becoming uncertain as the midfielder continues to struggle for regular playing time, with Real Madrid reportedly interested in securing his signature.
Mikel Arteta has publicly backed the Spaniard and maintained that he remains an important part of his plans. However, Zubimendi will naturally want more opportunities to demonstrate his quality rather than spending so much time on the bench.

The midfielder has considerable ability and will be keen to play regularly, making his current situation at the Emirates Stadium potentially difficult to accept.
Real Madrid maintain their interest in Zubimendi
Zubimendi's lack of regular minutes could eventually open the door to a departure, with Real Madrid reportedly monitoring his situation closely.
The Spanish giants were interested in signing him during the summer and attempted to make a move happen. However, Arsenal were unwilling to lose the midfielder or any of their other key players, meaning an agreement was not reached.
The Gunners were determined to maintain the strength of their squad, but the situation could become more complicated if Zubimendi continues to struggle for opportunities.

Arsenal could face a difficult decision
According to Fichajes , Real Madrid are stepping up their efforts to bring the midfielder to the club in the coming months, with the Spaniard now considered a major transfer target.
A potential move would give Zubimendi an opportunity to return to Spanish football and compete for regular involvement at another major club.
Arsenal, meanwhile, could face a difficult decision if interest becomes concrete. Arteta clearly values the midfielder, but keeping an unhappy player who wants more playing time may not be straightforward.
Much will depend on how his situation develops over the coming months and whether Arsenal can offer him a more prominent role in the team.
