Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid attacker Giuliano Simeone as they consider potential additions to their attacking department.
The 23-year-old has impressed in Spain, and his versatility could make him an interesting option for United. However, securing his signature may not be straightforward, as Atletico Madrid is reluctant to lose an important squad member.
According to a TEAMtalk report, Manchester United made enquiries about Simeone's availability during the summer transfer window. The Argentine international has attracted attention from several Premier League clubs following his development at Atletico Madrid.
Simeone has established himself as a useful attacking option under Diego Simeone, offering energy, tactical discipline and the ability to contribute in different attacking positions. Those qualities could make him a valuable addition to Manchester United as they look to improve their options in the final third.
The Red Devils need players who can provide greater depth and flexibility across their forward line. Simeone's work rate and willingness to contribute defensively could also make him a suitable fit for a team looking to become more effective without possession.
However, United will need to establish whether Atletico are prepared to entertain offers for the talented attacker.

Atletico Madrid are understood to be keen on retaining Simeone, who remains an important part of their plans. The forward is also reportedly happy in Madrid, where he continues to work under his father.
That could make negotiations particularly challenging for Manchester United, even if they decide to formalise their interest.
The Premier League giants have the financial resources to compete for his signature, but money alone may not be enough to convince Atletico to sell.
A move to Old Trafford would give Simeone a chance to test himself in English football, while United could add a hardworking, versatile attacker to their squad.
For now, there is no indication that a transfer is imminent. Much will depend on Atletico's stance and whether Simeone becomes open to a new challenge. Manchester United may therefore need to monitor his situation before deciding whether to pursue a deal.
