With the 2026 NBA draft in the rearview mirror, the Oklahoma City Thunder continue to add talent to their roster. They've taken part in the annual undrafted frenzy. It becomes a race of who can convince the remaining pool of draft prospects to sign with them as they start their pro journeys.
The Thunder added another name on Friday. They reportedly signed Santa Clara's Elijah Mahi to a Summer League deal, per college basketball reporter Dushawn London. He played in two collegiate seasons from 2024-26 with the Broncos . Before that, he was at the JUCO level for two years.
Mahi averaged 14.1 points on 44.7% shooting, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 35 games this past season. He shot 34.4% from 3 on 4.6 attempts. The 22-year-old is a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward.
It's going to be a huge July for Mahi and the rest of the undrafted free agents the Thunder signed. Mahi will try to impress enough during Summer League to earn another contract. If he shows flashes, OKC could sign him to a G League deal and even bring him on its training camp roster as an invitee.
The Thunder walked away from the 2026 NBA draft with a three-player class — Michigan's Aday Mara with the No. 12 pick; Iowa's Bennett Stirtz with the No. 16 pick; and Kentucky's Otega Oweh with the No. 41 pick.
