Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Adam Randall is expected to be included on the team's initial 53-man roster, according to Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun . The reported decision rewards Randall for a strong summer in which the fifth-round pick consistently displayed the size, speed and receiving ability that made him one of Baltimore's most intriguing developmental prospects.
Randall completed his preseason by producing 70 yards from scrimmage during the Ravens ' 41-3 victory over the Washington Commanders . The 6-foot-3, 232-pound back rushed five times for 25 yards and caught three passes for 45 yards. His performance included a powerful 24-yard run featuring a stiff arm that drew an enthusiastic response from Derrick Henry.
Baltimore selected Randall with the No. 174 overall pick after he spent most of his Clemson career at wide receiver. He moved to running back permanently in 2025 and finished his final college season with 814 rushing yards, 254 receiving yards and 13 total touchdowns. Randall opened the preseason by rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown against Philadelphia. He continued demonstrating enough versatility to strengthen his position in Baltimore's final roster projection .
With Henry and Justice Hill established at the top of the depth chart, Randall could compete with Rasheen Ali for opportunities as Baltimore's third running back. His background as a receiver also gives offensive coordinator Declan Doyle another movable piece who can operate from the backfield or line up in space.
The Ravens drafted Randall for his traits and developmental upside. His preseason performance showed that his transition to running back may be progressing faster than expected.
