Vitor Reis and Claudio Echeverri will be part of Manchester City's pre-season camp this summer under incoming manager Enzo Maresca, as per reports.
Reis spent last season on loan at Gironaafter joining City from Palmeirasin January 2025, establishing himself as one of the most reliable young centre-backs in La Ligaand earning his first senior Brazilcall-up in March.
He confirmed his desire to return to Manchester earlier this year, with feedback from the club described as "very positive" around the 20-year-old's development across the season.

Echeverri also ended the campaign at Girona after an unsuccessful loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen in the first half of the season, with the Argentine playmaker joining the Spanish club in January following his struggles in the Bundesliga.
City had originally wanted to send him to Girona last summer , only for Echeverri and his camp to push for the Leverkusen move instead.
As per Sam Lee of The Athletic , Vitor Reiswill be part of Manchester City's pre-season with a view to being in the squad next season, while Claudio Echeverriis also expected to join the camp ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
The update confirms that both players will get the opportunity to impress incoming manager Enzo Maresca in pre-season, with their futures at the Etihad Stadium to be assessed over the course of the summer.
Reis in particular is understood to be viewed as ready to compete for a first-team place, having made 31 appearances for Girona in La Liga and demonstrated the consistency that City had hoped for when sending him on loan.
The arrivals of Reis and Echeverri into pre-season come at a time of significant change at the Etihad Stadium, with John Stones having departed this summer and uncertainty looming over the future(s) of Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol following Pep Guardiola's recent departure.

Reis' development as a centre-back has been closely tracked by City over the course of the 2025-26 term – and his inclusion in pre-season with a view to squad involvement represents a concrete next step in a pathway City have been carefully managing since his move from Palmeiras 18 months ago.
For Echeverri, pre-season represents a fresh start under a new manager after a difficult year that included a frustrating spell at Leverkusen before his situation was reset at Girona in January.
Maresca's assessment of both players across the summer will determine whether they remain at the Etihad Stadium or move on loan again for further development ahead of the new campaign.
