🎢 Rollercoaster start to the season: VfB star's message to haters
Turbulent is probably still an understatement to describe the start of this Bundesliga star's season.
In VfB Stuttgart's opening thrashing at the hands of the record champions in Munich, Josha Vagnoman first scored to make it 1:1, before finding the net again a little later – this time in his own goal for 1:3 from Stuttgart's point of view, effectively sealing the result.

And in the next Friday night match under the floodlights against 1. FC Köln, the 25-year-old initially went through another emotional rollercoaster: In the 9th minute, he missed a huge chance to put his team ahead at home from point-blank range, smashing the ball against the crossbar instead of into the net.
However, the missed chance did not come back to haunt him, as his teammates had put the game firmly at 3:0 by the 75th minute. After the visitors pulled one back (81'), Vagnoman finally got his personal happy ending very late on – in the form of an absolute wonder goal!
In the first minute of stoppage time, a headed clearance from the Köln penalty area dropped at his feet. The VfB star hit it first time on the volley, and his shot flew straight into the top-right corner: 4:1 for Stuttgart – and Vagnoman's second goal of the season (in the right net).
Afterwards, he understandably did not hold back in his celebrations, sending a clear message with the classic "let them all talk" hand gesture to anyone who may already have had it in for him because of the own goal and the squandered sitter.

A wonder goal, then, as the perfect response to his turbulent start to the season – one that had resembled a personal rollercoaster ride!
