The Giants seem to have found another late-round gem.
New York has really liked what they've seen from sixth rounder J.C. Davisin camp.
The rookie offensive lineman started the offseason program working with the third unit offense, but over the past few weeks he's seen himself bumped up to get reps with the second team.

After he fully embraced the additional responsibility that came with the promotion, head coach John Harbaughand the rest of Big Blue's staff decided to challenge Davis even more this week.
The 22-year-old was tasked with playing Big Blue's entire second preseason game at LT in the tough heat and humidity of Miami on Saturday afternoon, and he was more than up to the task.
Davis graded out tremendously in both pass-blocking (87.1) and run-blocking (87.0), and didn't allow a single QB pressure while playing all 81 offensive snaps in the shutout victory.
His 89.3 overall PFF grade was also the best among Big Blue's offensive players.

Though it was only a preseason game against a bad Dolphins team, the Illinois-product certainly aced the test in his audition in front of his new coaching staff.
"I thought it was a great opportunity for them to see my ability," Davis said.
"It's a challenging thing," Harbaugh added. "He did it and he did it really well -- he had a lot of plus plays, graded out very well, and that's a big step in his development, for sure."
Davis' quick development only makes the Giants even deeper in the trenches heading into the season.
The sixth-round pick has quickly gone from being a long shot to crack the roster, to a player expected to fill an important role immediately with big-time upside down the line.
